　チェルシーさんが通報を受けて駆け付けた図書館の駐車場には、2匹のおびえた犬がいた。首輪がついていることから、どうやら誰かに捨てられたようだった。



　犬たちの傍には、アリが真っ黒にたかった骨が落ちていた。


　2匹は保護されたものの、別々の施設に収容されることになってしまった。しかしその2週間後、チェルシーさんたちの尽力で、2匹一緒に引き取ってくれるおうちが見つかったんだ。

　再会を喜び合うふたり。


　現在、犬たちはチェルシーさんと一緒に働いてくれている警官のおうちで、仲良く幸せに暮らしているそうだよ。



　チェルシーさんは、この2匹は父子なのではないかと考えているそうだ。どういう理由で捨てられたのかはわからないが、首輪をつけ、骨が置かれていたことから考えると、以前はきちんと飼われていたのは間違いないだろう。

　おびえてお腹を空かせている生き物たちのサポートに、献身的に取り組んでいるチェルシーさんたちの活動は、TikTokで随時更新されているので、ぜひ一度見に行ってほしい。
